Hosea 12 – Don’t feed on wind like godless environmentalists

In Hosea 12 we’ll hear of Ephraim feeding on wind. & we’ll hear of Israel making covenants with Assyria & Egypt. We’ll be reminded of Jacob the heel grabber, the one who wrestled with God, the one who ultimately found God. We’ll learn from Jacob, to wait on God. We’ll learn of the futility, of worldly carnal pursuits. We’ll be reminded of the incredible Exodus of Egypt, & Israel’s dire spiritual state, despite the many prophets sent to them by God. Hosea will tell again, of Israel’s entrenched idolatry. & how this resulted in the painful bloodshed that God brought upon Israel.
