Hosea 9 – Is God evil to end the earthly life of babies?

In Hosea 9 we confront some difficult scriptures. Hosea arrives to spoil the party. He speaks of sin at the threshing floor & failure of the winepress. God was ready to send Israel back into captivity, similar to the days of Egypt. Hosea declares, the word on the street – prophets of YHWH – are fools. & the spiritual men of YHWH – are insane. Only the false prophets were followed by the fallen of Israel. The people were entrapped in the lies of the false prophets. Even though the people felt conviction of the truth of the condemnation of the true prophets. Israel had become an abomination before God. They chased after Baal & Asherah, false god’s of fertility. So God would remove their fertility & kill their children. Yes shockingly – Hosea declared, that God would kill “the darlings” of Israel’s womb.
