Daniel 10:14-11:4 – Daniel’s discussion with an angel

In the 1st 13 verses of Daniel 10 – an angel had spent 21 days battling through demonic strongholds. He’d been sent by God to answer Daniel’s prayers. Daniel persisted in his prayers, 3 times per day for 3 weeks. & eventually the angel arrived to reveal an incredible vision to Daniel. Chapter’s 10, 11 & 12 – are his written records of this 4th & final vision of Daniel.

Daniel 10:1-13

We get an important insight into the Spiritual warfare raging around us. An Angel takes 3 weeks to fight through demonic opposition in order the reach Daniel. Teaching us the importance of being persistent in prayer.

Daniel 10:14 – 11:4

In this second half of chapter 10 we see the incredible interaction between Daniel and an angel. The angel is about to convey centuries of Jewish history to Daniel, before that history is played out. We just dip our toes into chapter 11 also, seeing some of the many prophecies unveiled, including the coming of Alexander the great & the division of Greece into 4 lesser kingdoms after Alexanders untimely death.
