1 Kings 22:1-14

A Hated and Sarcastic prophet – 1 Kings 22 – Part 1 of 2.

In this 2 part series we will uncover a little known Bible Prophet. Micaiah, a mighty prophet of God. Ahab the wicked king of Israel, is seeking a military alliance with Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah. Less than 100 years have passed, since the civil war that split the children of Israel into 2 lesser kingdoms. Ahab has been pursuing peace, & Jehoshaphat also wants peaceful relations with Ahab. But Jehoshaphat is a Godly man, & Ahab is a wicked idolater. Seeking the will of God, Ahab calls in 400 false prophets, but Jehoshaphat is not satisfied with the 400. He wants a true prophet of God. Enter Micaiah, & wait for the fun to begin.
