1 John 3

In 1 John 3 – we’re confronted by some blanching truths. This is a highly contentious chapter of the Bible. I think it’s a partner chapter, to study alongside James 2. John will flesh out – what it means to abide in Christ, & be born of God. He’ll confirm that we can’t sin if we abide in Christ. How do we reconcile this teaching of John? Considering he’s already taught us, in 1 John 1; if we say that we have no sin, the truth is not in us, & we make God a liar. Most of my life I’ve misunderstood this chapter. Most of my favourite Bible teachers, I think, completely miss the true meaning of this chapter.
