James 2
In James 2 we learn – not to show partiality between the rich & poor. Don’t give a rich man a better greeting than a poor man. We should demonstrate our law keeping by loving our neighbour – as ourself. If we transgress in one point of the law, we fail to live up to God’s perfect standards. Mercy – marvelously triumphs over judgment. Therefore – we should be merciful. Faith that works – is faith in action. Faith without works is dead. If you’re living a workless faith – you’re following another useless religion. Show your faith – through your works. Belief in one God is not enough to save, even the demons believe this & tremble. True faith will be seen in how we live. Do you live in the works of Christ? Then finally, James gives the example of Abraham & Rahab as justified, daring faith workers.
