Genesis 3: 1-3

Genesis 3: 1-3 – Satan indwells a serpent in order to tempt Eve into eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 3: 4-10

Genesis 3: 4-10 – The fall of mankind (Adam’s sin). God’s order of spiritual authority is God, Man, Woman, Animal. Satan flipped this order of authority & exploited Eve’s gap in knowledge (shall not touch). Adam openly disobeyed God’s command, perhaps because he could not stand to live without his wife. Adam & Eve sewed fig leaves together to cover their shame, their nakedness. Satan is always searching for weaknesses in our defenses to be exploited to destroy us.

Genesis 3: 11-24

Genesis 3: 11-24 – After the fall, sins consequences. The seed of the serpent & the Seed of the woman. Creation subjected to futility in hope.
