Genesis 23 – Abraham turns tragedy to hope. At the unexpected death of Sarah, Abraham presses his opportunity to finally acquire, Canaanite land. He purchases expensive land, the first fruits of his inheritance, declaring to the world, he was no longer a sojourner, Canaanite land, was his land.
