Exodus 23 – Who is this Angel of the Lord?

Exodus 23 will continue to lay down, Godly standards for Israel to abide by. Israel were to be impartial truth speakers. They were to be kind, even to their enemies. Jesus teaching on overcoming evil with good & returning love for hate. Is easily uncovered from this chapter. Justice is incredibly important to God. Treating foreigners fairly & decently is demanded by God. God cares about the poor, animals & the environment. The 7th year Sabbatical rest demonstrates this. God required Israel to come together, 3 times every year, in order that they remember Him & remain a unified people. We get a very good glimpse of the Angel of the Lord in this chapter. One with the power to forgive sins. Then God lays out, promised blessing to Israel if they obey His words. And the promised lands are again roughly outlined, at the conclusion to the chapter.
