Pharaoh – the stingy strawman with a hard heart – Ex 5

Exodus 5 – is the blame chapter. Everyone seems to be pointing the finger of blame. We also see the starting state of Pharaoh’s heart in this chapter. Pharaoh started – with a hard, or heavy, or stern heart. He had not the slightest inclination, to let his massive collection of slaves go free. This Pharaoh, so hard of heart, & so stingy with straw. Is being set up before YHWH, as the ultimate strawman.
