Genesis 32: 1-32

Genesis 32 – Jacob encounters 2 companies of angels, & then engages in an all night long wrestling match with Jesus, resulting in God renaming him Israel. His covenant with Laban signed (in the prior chapter). Jacob’s clear of danger from his rear flank. He can now focus his attention on his primary forward danger, Esau. Jacob went on his way, & walked into 2 companies of angels, camped together.
